EMEA Learning Advisor-1201358DescriptionWe are currently looking for an experienced individual to join the Global Learning and Development team within Global Field Effectiveness – Global Business Travel. The EMEA Learning Advisor will provide consulting, and design, develop and implement performance improvement initiatives for Sales and Client Management teams in the U.K., France, Germany, Nordics and our Global Business Partnership (GBP) segment.Work with market/segment leaders to understand root cause of employee performance problems (not just fulfill training requests).Leverage L&D expertise and existing GBT and AXP curriculum to propose solutions that best fit the desired business outcomes.Design (from scratch or by tailoring existing content), deliver and facilitate L&D programs.Measure progress of L&D initiatives against driving desired business outcomes and skill development.Surface opportunities to improve and expand upon our GBT curriculum to Global Content Development colleagues.Interact regularly with market/segment leaders to understand upcoming shifts in priorities.American Express is an equal opportunity employer.Business Acumen and Analysis Skills - Knowledge of general business fundamentals, finance, and management principles. Ability to identify the underlying causes behind employee or business performance issues.Advisory Capability - Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with key stakeholders, advise line leaders on the most appropriate learning intervention for their needs, persuade/negotiate for the prioritization of critical initiatives and manage their expectations.Instructional Design - Ability to use instructional design processes to develop innovative and effective training and performance support tools.Project Management - Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, execute, track and evaluate projects.Facilitation - Ability to facilitate L&D interventions.Use of Data and Metrics – Understanding of Kirkpatrick’s four levels of evaluation and ability to use data and metrics to demonstrate the impact of L&D interventions.Business Travel and Client-Specific Acumen - Knowledge of Global Business Travel’s business model, operations, financial goals, and competitive position, and deep knowledge of the key markets and segments in the region.Blue Box Talent Strategy Knowledge - Awareness and understanding of American Express’ development strategy and offerings.Job: Human ResourcesPrimary Location: United KingdomSchedule: Full-time
